Easy Roasted Chickpeas

  • 1 can (15 oz.) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, more or less as desired
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • Sea salt and fresh ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 F.
  2. Gently dry the chickpeas with paper or kitchen towel
  3. Place the chickpeas in a small bowl. Add olive oil and seasonings.
  4. Toss to combine.
  5. Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet in one layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.
  7. Watch them carefully in the last few minute as they will burn quickly.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool.
