‘Tis the season for holiday baking, especially holiday cookies, and I have been fully embracing it this year 🙂 While I have been allowing myself a little more indulgence this year because of the pregnancy, I have been trying to keep my sweet tooth under control by keeping some healthy components in my baking.
I love using wholesome and quality ingredients in my holiday baking, like Immaculate Baking Company’s wholesome baking products! To make my holiday cookies this year, I used Immaculate Baking cookie mixes to create 3 Easy Immaculate Holiday Cookies – With A Twist!
Let’s get started with my 3 easy holiday cookie recipes with this Peppermint Sugar Cookie!
I used Immaculate Baking Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix and mixed in crushed candy canes and peppermint extract!
- 15 mini candy canes, chopped
- Immaculate Baking Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup natural applesauce
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Chop candy canes by placing in a food processor and pulsing a few times.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine candy cane pieces, Immaculate Baking Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix, peppermint extract, eggs and applesauce. Stir to form a soft dough.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 13-15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
- Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet; store in airtight container.

- 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup natural applesauce
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Chop pecans by placing in a food processor and pulsing a few times.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine Immaculate Baking Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, oatmeal, eggs, applesauce and vanilla extract. Stir to form a soft dough.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
