Have quick and easy meal solutions on-hand for crazy back to school days with Jimmy Dean Bowls at Target. Each bowl contains 21-23 grams of protein, filled with premium ingredients and is ready in under 5 minutes.
School has been back in session for almost a month around here (crazy right?), but I know that many are just starting back this week or just after Labor Day! That means crazy mornings trying to get out the door and then equally crazy afternoon and evenings with fall sports and after-school activities starting up!
The hubs and lil man work and go to school about 45 minutes from our home, which means that they have to be out the door even earlier in the mornings! I am not a morning person to begin with and now having a baby in the house that I am up with in the middle of the night, there is no way that I am cooking a big breakfast! Especially since they have to leave before sunrise!! Honesty, I was soooo excited to find these new Jimmy Dean Bowls on the freezer aisle during my last Target run 🙂
These Jimmy Dean Bowls are an easy meal solution for our family!! The Loaded Potato Breakfast Bowl is a yummy combination of these premium ingredients: seasoned red potatoes, eggs, white three cheese sauce, sausage, cheddar cheese, bacon & chives 🙂
With 23 grams of protein per bowl, this Jimmy Dean Bowl keeps even Lil Man full and satisfied until his next meal! And that boy can eat!! He is still pretty young, so I know we are in trouble when he is a teenager…
Still these bowls are also great for after-school snacks to keep him fueled for his soccer practices or games! And breakfast for dinner…umm, yes please!! We love to have breakfast for dinner to switch things up and the Loaded Potato Bowl is perfect for those nights 🙂
My personal fav is the Ranchero Steak & Eggs Bowl!! The combination of eggs, seasoned red potatoes, chipotle salsa, steak, onions, cheddar cheese and poblano peppers is right up my alley 🙂 It has a bold flavor thanks to the chipotle salsa, but it isn’t too spicy. Baby Girl certainly keeps me on my toes, but once I get her down for her morning nap, I can have a great breakfast ready for myself in less than 5 minutes.
You never know how long you have with an infant’s nap (they can be 15 minutes or 2 hours…LOL) so I need to grab my breakfast quickly! And with 21 grams of protein, this Jimmy Dean Bowl gives me the energy that I need to keep up with a 6 month old! Baby Girl has one tooth that is starting to come in so she is being more needy and fussy as of late. I hate it for her…I know that has to be painful 🙁 She is also sitting up unassisted and working on transitioning to her belly, but it is totally not graceful yet 😉 She pretty much flops, so I have to be close to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself. I can’t be in the kitchen slaving over the stove.
These Jimmy Dean Bowls are a quick and easy meal solution for our busy family! I am certainly going to keep my freezer stocked with them 🙂 They are convenient and loaded with amazing ingredients so there is no settling and no guilt for this mama 😉 Be sure to grab some Jimmy Dean Bowls on your next Target run (if you’re anything like me, that will probably be later on today…LOL) and stock your freezer! Your family and your belly will thank you 🙂
