Got a busy summer planned? Feeding My Family Natural and Organic From Sam’s Club couldn’t be easier with this pantry staples that get food on the table fast! #RealGoodFood #ad
School’s out and summer is in full swing for our busy family! We will be heading on our annual family lake vacation in just a few short weeks! I can’t wait for an entire week with all the family 🙂 And this year, we have added 3 infants to the mix (our baby girl and my sister’s twin boys)! Baby girl will have just turned 4 months and the twins will be 8 1/2 months when we are at the lake house so it should be fun (read: INTERESTING and quite possibly challenging)!!
We have been Sam’s Club members for years and it has been a real life saver! Now with an infant in the house, I have been visiting my local Sam’s Club almost on a weekly basis. I buy her formula and other baby items at Sam’s and save a bundle! I have always bought natural and organic produce and meats from Sam’s Club, but here recently I have also starting buying more of their natural and organic pantry staples.
I grabbed this yummy Cascadian Farm’s Organic Oats and Honey Granola on my last Sam’s run! It is Certified Organic, Non-GMO and has no artificial colors or flavors. We have been eating as our morning breakfast cereal with milk and fresh blueberries! I have also mixed it up with some dried fruit and nuts for on-the-go breakfasts and snacks. I just throw about a cup of the granola mix in a snack-size zip top bag and throw it in my diaper bag 🙂 I am definitely taking some of that granola mix to the lake and when we head to the pool or park this summer too 🙂
I thought these Cascadian Farm’s Organic Chocolate Chip chewy granola bars would be perfect for our busy summer! They are Certified Organic, Non-GMO and provide 12 grams of whole grain per bar. These also will be perfect for the lake trip and all of our summer plans!! We will have long car rides, boat trips, time at the pool, time at the park, etc, etc.
I plan on throwing these little gems in my diaper bag and whatever other (pool, lake, toy) bags I am toting around this summer! That way I will be taking them wherever we go so I always have wholesome snacks on-hand. Lil man loves them and I am sure Z man (my 3 year old nephew) will too 😉
What kid (or adult for that matter) doesn’t like mac & cheese??? Sometimes it isn’t the healthiest choice but a go-to for moms with picky toddlers or kids. I found this Annie’s Homegrown Shells & White Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese which is organic from Sam’s Club and we are in love 🙂 It is made with goodness, super yummy and uber versatile!!
I love that it has no artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives; that it provides 10 grams of protein per serving and that it is produced without antibiotics, synthetic hormones or persistent pesticides!! We have been enjoying it in a variety of ways! It is a quick and easy lunch or side dish. We use the grill a ton in the summer and while the hubs is grilling, I can whip up this up as a side to go along with whatever he is grilling. I have also mixed in kale, spinach or other leafy greens to get more veggies in our meals without complaints 😉 You can make it dinner by adding in beans or tofu if you are vegetarian or it is Meatless Monday! Or toss in some leftover or rotisserie chicken and you can have a wholesome dinner on the table in no time flat! That is perfect for me with an infant in the house! She is very demanding of my time and attention, especially at dinner time which just happens to correspond to her most crankiest time of the day 😉
I know I will be checking out more of the line of products that are organic from Sam’s Club this summer! So tell me which of the products are your most excited about adding to your family’s summer lineup?
