Impress your holiday guests with a comforting and Healthy Holiday Chai Tea Latte. Make the most out of the holiday season with help from Hallmark Gold Crown. #Hallmark #ad
Thanksgiving is behind us and now it is officially time to start singing and listening to carols, shopping, cooking and baking!! Yay:lol: All things Christmas has officially begun!!! I will admit that I am not the biggest holiday decorator (I may or may not have just put up my first christmas tree in the home that we have lived in for 3 years now just last year)…But I do love all things holiday cooking and I even relax my healthy habits a bit and indulge…just a little 😉
I was recently at our Hallmark Crown Store and I was drawn to their new Crafter & Co. line of artisian-made soaps, candles and teas. I picked up a few their handcrafted, certified organic teas and the cutest tea cup, saucer and spoon. Don’t you just love the saying on their bag? I think that is my new motto 😀
You know, there is nothing quite as soothing and relaxings as a good cup of tea!! Am I right? I love to have some on-hand during the holiday season because it is the perfect thing to offer guests when they are over 🙂 I chose Mint Green, Cinnamon Apple Black and Vanilla Chai. I thought it was a nice variety so there is a little something for everyone’s taste!!
Then I decided to take it a step further and really make something special for our guests 😆 When I go to a coffee shop, a chai latte is something that I order quite often and really enjoy!! I wanted to take a stab at re-creating my favorite coffee shop chai latte at home for our guests. Hints of honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom and pumpkin spice make this latte both healthful and inviting 😛
My Healthy Holiday Chai Tea Latte starts with unsweetened vanilla almond milk which you bring to a simmer with the spices and honey. While the milk is warming, bring water to a boil to steep the Crafter & Co. Organic Vanilla Chai Tea according to package directions. The key to a good latte is the frothy milk and this is best and easily accomplished with an immersion blender 😆
The result is the perfect homemade treat to warm your mugs on any cool fall/winter morning!! Enjoy this healthy treat with the company of good, trusted friends and watch the stress of the holiday season just melt away!! Can you see that the spoon is engraved with “relax?” Just perfect 😆
These awesome teas and the gorgeous tea cup and saucer would make an excellent gift for teachers, babysitters, friends and just about anyone that could use a soothing moment this holiday season!!
Here is your recipe for Healthy Holiday Chai Tea Latte:
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tsp. fresh ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. pure madagascar vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. ground cardamom
- 1 tsp. pumplin pie spice
- 4 tsp. Crafter & Co. Organic Vanilla Chai Tea
- Bring water to a boil in a tea kettle or in a small sauce pan.
- At the same time, heat the almond milk to simmer in a small sauce pan with the honey, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom and pumpkin pie spice. (be careful to watch the milk closely, it can boil over quickly...this may or may not have happend to me 😉 )
- Remove milk from heat, remove cinnamon stick and set aside.
- Add tea to a loose tea infuser and steep with boiling water according to package instructions.
- While tea is steeping, use an immersion blender to froth the milk.
- Fill half a mug with the steeped tea, add the frothy milk and garnish with more fresh ground nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
Here is a little video tutorial that I put together on making my Healthy Holiday Chai Tea Latte. (Be gentle…it is the first video that I have done…LOL) Then be sure to head to your local Hallmark Gold Crown store and grab everything that you need to make this holiday shine!!

I’m mostly a plain old coffee drinker but I love to have a specialty tea/coffee around the holidays. I love the spices in here.
