Do you have a “go-to” vegetable that you buy most weeks at the grocery store and is usually always on-hand in your frig? We sure do and it is broccoli!! We have it atleast once a week, if not more 😀 We all enjoy it and it is super easy to prepare (most of the time, I just go ahead and buy the fresh pre-cut bags that you can just throw in the microwave). I also love that it is super healthy for us 😆 It is full of antioxidants and Vitamin C to help keep us from getting sick!! I guess we are creatures of habit, but I guess that it is good that it is a healthy habit, right?

I usually either simply steam it with a little salt and pepper or I make my Roasted Garlic Broccoli.  I wanted try something new and you all know my slight obsession with all things spicy, so I decided to try adding sriracha to my Roasted Garlic Broccoli, resulting in my new fav Roasted Sriracha Broccoli!!

Roasted Sriracha Broccoli-4

Roasting any vegetable, but especially broccoli really brings out the flavors and it is one of my favorite ways to cook cruciferous and root vegetables!! This Roasted Sriracha Broccoli is just bursting with flavor and you control the heat level 😀 I wrote the recipe below with just a teaspoon of sriracha, but you could increase or decrease that depending on how spicy your family likes it. I used more like a tablespoon of sriracha, but remember that we like it spicy. It couldn’t be simpler…just toss all the ingredients together and plop on a good baking sheet and into the oven they go. Speaking of good baking sheets, I have these Rachael Ray Oven Lovin’ Nonstick Bakeware 3-Piece Baking and Cookie Pan Set on my wish list right now: http://amzn.to/1p22lvk.

  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminium foil (for easy cleaning) and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
