Slow cooker balsamic french dip sandwiches…doesn’t that just make your mouth water? I know it does for me!! It couldn’t be easier to put together a beefy, cheesy and juicy sandwich on the table. Some days you just need a nice satisfying sandwich to end a long day. I really enjoy balsamic vinegar and the nice punch that it brings to recipes.
Of course we are keeping it as healthy as possible, as we try to do on Becky’s Best Bites, but we have to allow for an indulgence from time to time. All things in moderation is my motto…the more that you deprive yourself, the bigger the binge will be when you finally give in. No, none of us have that much will power…
- 1 3-4 pound boneless roast beef (chuck or round roast)
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- Place a slow cooker liner into the insert of the slow cooker. Place roast beef into the insert of your slow cooker. Add all remaining remaining ingredients. Cook for 4 hours on High or 6-8 hours on Low.
- Once roast beef has cooked, shred the meat and stir to fully combine.
- Using a slotted spoon, add meat to your whole wheat bun.
- Add a slice of provolone cheese over the meat and allow to melt. Replace the top of the bun and enjoy with baked chips.
