For the last installment of my posts on the Super Hero Baby Shower that we threw for my sister, I’m going to share the “activity” that we did. We didn’t want to do any of those typical “baby shower” games. You know the ones I am talking about like “How big is the mommy’s tummy?” or something similar. So we decided that since it was at an art center that we could do an art activity. My other sister, Amy came up with decorating onesies and all the ideas:-)
Did you miss my other posts on the Super Hero Baby Shower? You can find them here: Super Hero Baby Shower – Part 1 & Super Hero Baby Shower – Part 2. Now to today’s post on the activity we did for the Super Hero Baby Shower. We bought a bunch of white onesies in various sizes. Our supply table was full of options that our guests could choose from to decorate a onesie for Zackary. We had traceable logos, like super hero, sports teams and others.
Puffy and fabric paints.
Letters, iron-ons and she even prepared “Saying Ideas.”
A closer look at all the iron-ons that we had! I know that she ordered them from Etsy but I don’t have the exact shop. Leave a comment if you are interested in the etsy shop and I will try to get it for you. Our guests choose what they wanted to use for their onesie and got to work…
Drum-roll please……….
And here are some of the results!! Z for Zackary! Cute and simple.
Number 1 and Doggie Onesie! My sister has two full size labs that will be Big Brothers for Zackary. They have the best disposition so I know that they will be great with him, even when he is pulling their ears and tails;-)
Gator Onesie! We are University of Florida Gator fans so Zackary is going to have to be one as well. How cute is “I drool Orange and Blue?” Goooo Gators!!
Mustache booty!! How adorable is this? Each of the artists also signed their works of art so that Zackary would know who designed the onesie for him. This activity was much more fun than I thought it would be and sooooo much better than those silly baby shower games:-) And as an added bonus, my sister went home with a pile of onesies that she can use for lil Zackary! I think it was a win, win for everyone.
