Over the next few post, I will share with you my clean Thanksgiving side dishes. See I am in charge of the side dishes and my other family members take care of the turkey and the ham. Let’s start with Thyme Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Instead of a calorie, sugar and fat laden typical sweet potato casserole, try this clean take. Healthy and still full of flavor! Give this a try at your Thanksgiving celebration.
Thyme Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
- 3 large sweet potatoes or yams
- 2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
- 1 TBSP garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 TBSP fresh thyme, chopped
- Himalayan Pink Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Peel and cube sweet potatoes.
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic and thyme.
- Arrange in a single layer in a baking pan and roast for about 40 minutes, until the potatoes are slightly browned.
- Toss with salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste.
